Wedding Order FAQs

WHERE CAN I SEND MY FLOWERS FROM?

You can post or drop your flowers off to HunterMade studio if the flowers are from South Australia, please email phoebe@huntermade.com.au if you have any questions

HOW SHOULD I KEEP MY FLOWERS?

After the wedding day keep the flowers in a vase either drying or in water. The flowers can then be sent to our studio to be steamed printed.

WHAT FLOWERS WORK BEST FOR BOTANICAL PRINTING?

Every bouquet that I have dyed has produced the most beautiful unique print. An entirely white bouquet will produce golden/yellow tones while a bouquet full of red roses will produce deep madder and purple prints. There is never a complete guarantee of the result and that is what makes this process so alluring.

CAN I ORDER AFTER MY WEDDING?

Yes! I have died flower bouquets up to twelve months after the wedding. Providing the flowers were kept dried.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY SCARF?

Natural dye is chemical-free (yay). This means it needs to be taken care of. Washing should be minimal and done in the following way.

-Hand wash in lukewarm water

-Dry flat in shade, do not expose to direct sunlight when drying.

Fading can occur over time.

HOW DO I POST MY FLOWERS?

Either hang the flowers upside down to dry or place them in a waterless vase. After a couple of days place flowers in a postal bag or box, you could wrap the stems loosely newspaper.
