ARTIST WORKSHOPS MADE FOR YOU
Whether your hosting an event or would like to sign up for future classes, below is a list of the types of workshops + classes we hold. Hosted events can be tailor-made, using any aspects of different classes (the most popular has been the botanical dye bridal shower). All classes are hands-on and sustainably focused, each person will also receive class notes so they can continue at home.
Natural dye workshops aren’t just about teaching people how to use natural techniques such as botanical dye and ink making, students also learn how to live in harmony with the natural world, create conscious art/craft and connect with like-minded people.
In this three hour workshop, you will learn how to create your own sustainable dyes using a variety of sources from vegetables to botanicals! During the workshop you will discover how to steam print flowers/leaves onto fabric, create watercolor paints with flowers/tea, and use the pounding process of hammering flowers into fabric.
A fun, creative workshop that will give you insight into creating beautiful products with a less impact on our environment.
WREATHS + ARRANGEMENTS + SCULPTURE + CROWNS
Using a beautiful selection of native and exotic flowers you will learn the art of contemporary arrangements. For your home, workspace or to be gifted. Dried flowers last years and create beautiful sculptures and intricate movement. They lift a space and hold a wonderful calming presence.
Learn how to use a gorgeous selection of flower petals as watercolour paints. Each person will have a kit of charcoal, flowers and cotton paper to create beautiful gestural + semi-abstracted floral prints.
